These have become very popular for both companies who are looking for an increase in sales and websites who have been inadequate in producing some earnings. Whether you have a website that sells a certain product/service or a website that has nothing to sell, you should not stop from joining related associate program for your website, product or service because it can give you additional earnings.
Do you have a connection with another site that can offer something new? Then you should know more about an associate program or sometimes called partnership program. This is where the companies selling products or services online gives a part of their profits as a commission on any sales you create for them by introducing new customers.
Some companies who offers associate program usually weigh their compensation rates in terms of those sites that send the most clicks and converted actual sales. When somebody reaches an industrial site and make some purchase from the site, you will get a commission for that as a return.
You will greatly benefit when you join any associate programs that are related to your business that definitely would sell other products or businesses to your clients. Indeed, it’s really an additional source of gaining cash.
The examples of companies that have affiliate programs are the software retailer Beyond.com and bookseller Amazon.com wherein anyone can have affiliation with these commercial sites and direct people to visit them.
By using the associate program, every one has a chance to add a significant value to any website. And a good quality website can become more valuable and dynamic if it offers a wide variety or different products and services as an associate.
There are also several types of associate programs like the Web Cards. This is an associate program that pays one dollar to affiliates each time a consumer asks for a free sample of their merchandise. The product is actually a postcard of an image or a website. Wherein the user does not need to spend some money yet an affiliate gets a small fee for it.
One should remember that associate programs increase the usefulness of a site only if the commercial site offers the users something valuable. An associate program may affect the accessibility of a site, but it will make it easy and convenient for users, they may visit a site searching for a product or service that it does not offer. However, the site can at least direct the customer to another site that offers that particular product or service. People would definitely like to revisit a site that leads them to a good purchase. That is a very important factor to have a good rapport with the client.
For the success of an associate program, it is necessary to make sure that the content of a site matches the program. Otherwise, the visitors may get irritated. For example, if one has a website on watches, it is better to keep away from giving a link to a pastry shop. It will just give a negative impression to the customers about the products and the company.
When joining an associate program and reselling their products or services, there are critical things that needs to be considered because your customers are also counting on you for the good recommendations that you will make and your reputation will depend on it.
It is really valuable if one would join an associate program because of the benefits that they will get, but if you are serious in joining a program you should first get and try the product or service of the company before recommending it to somebody or to a customer.

How To Earn MONEY As An Affiliate
by Maya Jakes
The answer is a most definite yes!
After researching the topic of Affiliate Marketing for a few months (I like to be thorough!) I decided to run a little test and see if I could earn some real money – not pennies. I used strategies that top marketers appear to have been using for years and to my surprise and delight the results were simply amazing.
Over 1 month I wrote 3 ebooks and started my own newsletter. I’m now starting to see results and am very impressed with the financial rewards I’m receiving. Best of all, some of the cash is a monthly recurring amount that will simply be paid into my bank account each and every month without me having to do anymore work to get it – as my daughter says, cool!
How am I earning money without my own website? I simply include relevant affiliate links in my ebooks, articles, reports and monthly newsletter. I also make sure that each email I send to a customer includes 1 relevant, recommended affiliate merchant link in the main body and of course, I also include my own website links as part of my signature. I already have the customer’s trust so get a high response rate.
Writing articles and ebooks is a fantastic way of generating targeted traffic to your website (if you have one) which in turn generates more sales and that means more money :). I sell my ebooks on the World’s biggest billboard – Ebay!
So far all of my ebooks have resell rights included. Basically, I sell 50 copies of each ebook, from just 1p, and then hopefully at least 1% of the buyers will resell it for me and then 1% of their buyers, etc., etc. While everyone else is busy selling my ebook I get to work on the next one. I’m not really bothered about making money from selling the ebook as I’m more interested in earning commission from the affiliate links inside it.
I have Outlook set up as an auto responder so that when Paypal send me a payment notification, an email is immediately send to my buyer so they can download their eBook. I follow up a few days later asking if they’d like to sign up to my monthly newsletter and offer them another free eBook every month as an incentive. Now I can get some of my affiliate links in front of them every month without too much effort required.
Hopefully, you see the potential in affiliate marketing and are maybe considering it yourself so you’re probably asking where to begin writing your own ebook or article. I found a brilliant website with pre-written articles on health and wellbeing. Health is an area that never seems to go out of fashion so is always popular and therefore anything relevant sells very well.
I take the pre-written content, dress it up and add my own affiliate links to basically make it my own. Again, the ebooks always have a link to my website and newsletter sign up. I’ve found that usually after 3 or 4 months I start to see my affiliate links working their magic for me and depositing cash in my bank account.
3 or 4 months may seem like a long time to wait for the money to roll in but once you start to reap the rewards you should hopefully continue to reap them for years to come so it’s definitely worth the initial wait.
Now I’ve successfully tested the market and am more than happy with the results, I intend to make it a top priority to write at least 1 new ebook and article every week and multiply my profits. I know it’s a cliché but, if I can do it then anyone can! :)
I hope you enjoyed reading this article and that you found it both helpful and inspiring. If you’re interested in affiliate marketing then I recommend you don’t delay any longer and just go for it. For more detailed information and resources just visit my website.

How to make your Blogs Can Save Your Money
Even though I've had several personal blogs for years, I've only been officially business blogging since 2003. So in going back over expenses for the last quarter, you can imagine my shock when I realized that my overall business costs were down about 19%. What saved me so much money? Surprisingly, blogging.
How can you save money with your blog? It's pretty simple, so I'll be brief.
Attract search engine traffic without paying the big bucks
If you want Google, Yahoo and MSN to pay attention to you, blog.
It doesn't have to be a whole new site, just add a directory to your existing site and start blogging. Most blog software solutions are either cheap or free.
And you can find out most basic blog information online for free (really, sometimes just typing your question into Google will do it.) by people who've actually done it. For less than $100, you can build a small library of blog tips and secrets, written by successful business bloggers.
Instead of buying links, get one-way links from blog search engines and directories, as well as getting your RSS feed content displayed at other sites.
Linking is a great way to get search engine attention and click traffic. Some people get links by trading; others by including their links at the end of freely distributed articles. Others pay to be listed, or to get linked.
In each of these scenarios, some type of trade takes place, money, free content, or a link back.
When you blog, you'll find plenty of search engines and directories that are willing to list you free of charge. For the most part you won't need to link back - you'll get a one-way link from site favored by search engines, often using text that you select yourself.
If 90 or more of these free, legitimate links back to your site is worth your time, then get you blog in motion.
Not only that, if you update frequently, other sites may want to display your RSS feed content on their sites. To encourage them to do so, put a link on your page with instructions on how to do so. Ever since I put one on the front of my site, various feeds from my main site have turned up in the most unexpected places.
Cheaper way to study your audience.
As your blog gets more popular, you may start to find that on any given day, you have a representative cross-section of prospects and clients at your site. If you have a question for them, you can just... ask.
True, you can post a link to a survey in your newsletter or on your site, but these are not as interactive as the ability for your audience to comment. They will comment, and you can reply to ask them to expand, or clarify. Conversation gets going and before you know it, a bond is formed, a much stronger bond than occurs in a one-way conversation.
Cheaper (and faster) way to start a resource or authority site.
Five years ago, if you wanted to start an authority site, your best bet was to build a portal with a specialized directory at its core. Three years ago, you were better off starting a forum with a resource section attached to it. Last year, your top bet was a feed-enabled content management system, especially as more parts of content management systems began to have content feeds related to them. (I have 12 feeds for each of my PHP-Nuke based sites, though they don't work as well with Google Tap.)
Now, if you want to be the expert, you want to start a blog.
If you're blogging consistently, you have a hub of information collected that will inspire return traffic. You have a collection of links to articles, sites, and tools. You can constantly write up your own opinion editorials on each of these items, as well as fact-based analysis of news and events that can help your audience make better choices.
As blog software matures you can now categorize, and alphabetize your links, and with the ability to ping multiple sources as well as leave trackback links to other sites, you can send your readers through a ring of related, freshly updated information that ultimately leads back to you.
Spend less money on advertising as your blog becomes more popular
I can't promise you that you'll never spend another red cent on advertising costs. However, the amount of free advertising you get from having your blog link or RSS feed listed in dozens of search engines and directories, and popping up in feed readers is not to be underestimated.
You'll probably still want to do some ezine advertising when your new ebook or software release is debuted. But you may not need to buy as much advertising or purchase as often.
Then there is the fact that many newsletters that are also published to RSS feeds have wider reach. I've found that it's worth the extra money to appear in both versions ? ask your favorite publisher for details. For publications that allow this, it's normally only 20% extra
Save money by retaining visitors
You've probably heard a thousand times that it is easier to sell repeatedly to an existing client than it is to find a new one. So how do you get that visitor to come back, and possibly buy again?
A constant stream of new information on a particular topic work is enough to keep people buying a daily newspaper, subscribing to a magazine or viewing a television series.
Frequent updates can work the same way for your site.
With bloggers being named People of the Year by Time magazine last year, if you're not blogging in 2005, you're going to be left in the dust by other sites in your industry that do. It doesn't have to take up a lot of extra time, and the time it does takes is made up for in the money you can save.

Your First Adsense at Blog site
Learn from successful blogsiter about How To Build Your First Adsense at Blog site
The best way to learn something is to start doing it. This is a guide to get your up and standing on your own feet and making money with Adsense in a relatively short space of time. There's a lot to take in here but don't be put off by the foreign sounding nature of it all. If you persist everything will come together.
The fundamental fact is that Adsense is the easiest way to start making money online. With a very basic blog / website and just a few people coming to it you will start to earn money. As you develop the site and bring more traffic to it an average Adsense monetized website will make between $500 and $1,000 each and every month with little work needed.
Here's an example of a blogspot site that I built two weeks before starting to write this guide - http://home-interior-design-tips-article.blogspot.com It is a very simple concept which provides interior tips for home owner, designer or decorators. Some of these tips I wrote myself and some I got from the article directories. It took just a couple of days to build and then a couple of days to do the basic search engine optimization and link building necessary to start bringing traffic to it.
It is monetized soley through Adsense and is the easiest way to understand how the program works. I have included three different ad units on each of the tips pages - If you open this page you can see one Adlink at the top, one 336 x 280 rectangle inside the article and another 336 x 280 rectangle at the bottom of the article next to the newsletter subscription box.
Each time a visitor clicks on one of these ads (bearing in mind that the Adlinks requires a visitor to click on the topic and then to click on an ad inside that topic) Google will charge the particular Adwords advertiser the amount that they have said they are willing to bid and will then pay me as an Adsense publisher a percentage of this amount. (This percentage is not released to us but testing suggests it is around the 50% mark).
After two weeks this site is making an average of $5 a day from Adsense. In another 3 weeks it will consistently be making $10 and within 2 to 3 months it will average $30+ a day. All it requires from me is to add a few more tips in to keep the content growing and get a few more inbound links to assist my search engine rankings - I will repeat this process on the first of every month and it will take me a couple of hours.
I'd say the most this site could make from Adsense is $50 - $60 a day, but even if it levels off at $30 a day that's $10,950 a year. With little maintenance work it will do this for 3 years which means for the four initial days I spent building it and the one day a month I improve it I will earn $32,850 - Not bad.
This is how simple it is to make money with Adsense but the reason thousands of people are struggling is because they are not breaking each aspect of the process down to its basics and are focusing on earning $32,850 in one lump sum next Thursday. That's not possible.
People who make a lot of money with Adsense have done one of two things:
1. They have Integrated Adsense into a website that already has high traffic (About.com is the extreme example of this), or
2. They have built a large network of niche websites each of which generates $500 - $1,000 a month. If you build 50 (which over the space of a year or two is completely feasible if you take my above example), you can earn up to about $50,000 a month which equals out to $600,000 a year - pretty good for a network of what are fundamentally very basic websites. This is Adsense Empire Building territory.
Creating one very high traffic website or a large number of small niche websites requires a whole host of skills which you will not yet have. You only get these skills by learning, implementing what you've learnt and reflecting on what your implementation has told you.
As a beginner you have to start at the beginning - that's the rule of any game. As you learn and do more, building effective websites that make more and more money will get easier and easier. Don't be one of the many that are making marketeers rich by buying into their rhetoric of making big money quickly and without any effort. These people end up stopping before they even started.
So How Do You Get Started?
To make money with Adsense you need two things:
1. A website, and
2. Traffic to that website
The Adsense ads are integrated into number one (your website) and are clicked on by number two (your visitors). Without these two things you cannot make money from Adsense. Below is a simple step by step guide of what you need to do and when.
1. You Need to Decide Which Topic You Are Going To Build Your Website On
Adsense works best on websites that provide information. Understanding Adsense provides information about how to make money with Adsense and you have come to this site to learn more about that topic. The Adsense ads are related to this topic and so are more likely to get clicked on. GetGoodatGolf provides information on how to improve different aspects of your golf game. Another website may review a particular product or type of product. For example, independentwebhostingreviews.com which gives information on hosting accounts in the form of an opinion on the best deals.
The easiest way to start is to build a website around a topic that you know something about. Don't look at this as the website that is going to make you rich but as a testing ground to learn all the skills you need to know to build succesful websites in different markets that will make you rich. Money comes after learning and doing. If you chase the money you'll learn and do nothing.
2. You Need to Be Able to Build This Website
First things first - don't buy an Adsense Ready or Turnkey website. If you don't know, these are content websites that have been built and optimized for Adsense. The seller packages together a few hundred articles around a particular market, eg health and then sells this package to a thousand people like you and me. Adsense Ready Websites will give you the first thing you need to make money with Adsense - a website, but you'll find it hard to get the second - traffic - as the search engines penailze duplicate content and without traffic Adsense is useless.
The other problem is that they isolate you from the most important aspect of making money online - and that is building a website.
To us as internet marketeers, all a website is is a vehicle for converting traffic into money. A good website is one that does this effectively. If you don't learn how to build one yourself you are trying to row a boat without an oar.
The good thing is is that you no longer need to learn html code to build your website. Programmers have come to our rescue and over the past few years better and better website creation tools have become available.
The one I recommend is XSitePro. It's made the process of building a website so easy and is streaks ahead of all the other tools on the market. Within two to three hours you will have worked your way through the tutorial and will be in the position to build your own successful money vehicle. It really is the internet marketeers dream come true and on my Golf website I mention above I will have paid the cost back within 7 days. It's literally built to facilitate what this website is talking about and even has an insertion facility for Adsense. It'is one of the few products I sincerely recommend. You can pick up yours here
3. You Need to Buy a Domain Name and Get a Hosting Package For Your Website
Now you've decided the theme of your website and have bought your website creation tool you need to buy a domain name and a hosting package. I now use and recommend Blue Host. They've got a special on at the moment where if you set up a hosting account you get a free domain name. This will save you going to a domain registrar to register a name but you'll have to move.
4. You Need to Create the Content For Your Website
There are two ways of getting content - by writing it yourself or by obtaining it from a third party. The options open to you will really depend on the theme of your website. For a first website I generally recommend that you write it yourself. You can learn how to manipulate other people's information later once you've grasped the basics of website building, Adsense and traffic.
5. You Need to Join Adsense
This is simple - once you have built your website follow this link, click on the "Click Here to Apply" button, fill in your details and wait for your approval email.
6. You Need to Bring Yourself Up to Speed on Adsense
For the complete newbie to Adsense, UnderstandingAdsense.com has it's limitations as it doesn't go into the very basic stuff of how to get the code, how you change the variables etc. The site focuses on what actually makes money with Adsense and this is down to building the right websites, integrating Adsense correctly and bringing traffic to that website. Therefore your'e going to need another source so that you can get to grips with the basics. There are three that I would recommend:
(i) The Google Adsense Help Center - From the people who made the program this is a good tour de force of Adsense and how to use it. They also have some good "heat maps" which give you ad placement ideas depending on the type of website you are building.
(ii) Adsense Forums - Digital Point and Webmaster World both have good Adsense forums if you're the type that can happily sit and sift through thousands of posts.
(iii) Joel Comm's Adsense Secrets Ebook - A quicker way to get to grips with Adsense is to buy this ebook. It's a little pricey at $97 but his book breaks down what you want to know quickly and efficiently. I've read it three or four times and would recommend it to someone like me who prefers to have a start-up manual in front of them rather than having to trawl through thousands of forum postings - a valid shortcut for the newbie to Adsense who is intending on making much more than the $97 cost of the book.
7. You Need to Successfully Integrate Adsense into your website
Now comes the fun part. You've got your content, you've built your website, you understand the fundamentals of Adsense. Integration and optimization now become crtical and these articles explore how best to do that:

How To Build An Internet Business Sucessful
I want to start build an internet business, but I just a beginner. If you can tell me how to build an Internet business fast and sucessful. This question was always say bye almost people to start business in internet. Everyday I talk with people who want to get started on the internet with their own business.
But the whole process seems a mystery to them whether they have an affiliate marketing program, a real estate course or they sell health and fitness products. The easiest way I found to walk people through the basic building blocks is to use a real life example of building a brick and mortar business. Success on the internet is possible when you know how to build it and drive targeted traffic to your website.
Let's say you wanted to open a coffee shop that would rival Starbuck's?. Where would you begin? You would probably want to do some kind of research to see how many coffee shops were in your town or city. After all, if there are 5 in a ten mile radius, you might want to think about a different location or how you would make your coffee shop unique enough to slaughter the competition.
1. Identify your niche
Well, it's not much different on the web. You want to first identify your niche. First, let's quickly explain what a niche is and isn't. If you are selling every affiliate marketing program under the sun, this is not a niche. A niche would be to focus on affiliate programs in a specific field like health and fitness. Then you want to find out what the top websites are by typing 'health and fitness' into Google. Here you can see the top 10 sites that Google says are important. Remember that even the category 'health and fitness' can be broken down into further niches like weight loss for women or top 20 health products for longevity. See what your competition is doing and how you could do it different or better.
Another way to look for niches is to use Overture's search term tool. Place your keyword in the box and hit go. Overture will spit out anything relevant to that keyword. It will show you possible niches you hadn't thought of and how many people search for that keyword. For example, you may put in coffee beans and it may show you that organically grown and processed coffee beans are all the rage.
2. Build a user friendly website
Back to the coffee shop. Next thing you might do is have the shop built in a good location where traffic can come and go easily. You too must build a website that has what people are looking for, is easy to navigate, easy to shop and checkout with friendly customer service. Tip: If you are selling weight loss products, don't try and sell power tools. While this may sound obvious, many people try to take the 'sell everything' they can approach and what happens is they end up selling nothing.
What will the environment of the coffee shop be like? What experience do you want your customers to have? Your customers will be entering your website with expectations of finding the information they need and the products they want. In that order. You might invite them to sign up for a free 7 part report on 'how to lose 10lbs guaranteed over the next 30 days eating healthy.' At the end of that report you can encourage them to look at your weight loss supplements or vitamins.
3. Good navigation
As in the coffee shop, have your items for sale laid out in a well organized fashion so the buyer can order exactly what they want with little effort except to give you their credit card number. It is best to have your products grouped and images optimized for fast page loads. Think about what you like. Do you want to see ten products described well on a page or fifty crammed in? As you would have nice displays in your coffee shop so will you on your website.
4. Offer something better than your competition does
What other things could you do to enhance your buyer's experience? In a coffee shop you could offer free samples of new drinks or have a discount card for people who drink coffee with you every morning. On your website, you can offer free tips, reports and discounts on volume buys
or repeat purchases.
5. Market wisely
So, how do you get people to come try your coffee shop? Typically, a brick and mortar business will advertise in the local paper. It may be that you have the coffee that is guaranteed to get them going in the morning, free internet access, homemade muffins or the freshest coffee beans
available. With your website, you may do pay-per-click advertising, exchange reciprocal links or write articles.
Traffic must come in the door of your website, like what they see and hopefully buy from you.
While most of these tips are common sense, it is amazing how few people actually use these critical ingredients in their online business. Pretend you are a customer arriving to your web store for the first time. What could you do to make the whole experience better?

An Adsense Ad Is More Than An Ad
Most of you that read this article already knew about Adsense Ad, how to used it and etc. But for successfull adsense you need more information about it. Please read this article to know more.
You will succeed with Adsense when your visitors wilfully look to them as a source of supplemental information to what your webpage provides. Therefore, if there is such a thing as a trick to succeeding with Adsense it is not to see Adsense Ads as advertisements.
The reason for this is that no one likes ads. Why? Because we're surrounded by the buggers.
Advertisements are viewed as an intrusion, Adsense Ads should be seen and integrated as a further resource for your website visitors.
The reason this is achievable with Adsense is down to the very nature of the ads:
1. The Adsense Ads are related to the content of the page that you put them on
The reason that Adsense is so popular and so effective at monetizing traffic is that the ads that appear on your website will be related to the content of each individual webpage. If you build a website about home insurance, then the ads on it will be about home insurance, if you build a website about Nike shoes then that's what the ads will be about and so forth. If integrated into your website correctly they're actually useful to your visitor and if something is useful it gets paid much more attention!
2. Adsense Ads are customizable
To not just be an ad, real integration into your website is necessary. The different format sizes and the color palettes all facilitate the integration of the ads into the fabric of your website.
3. The quality of the Ads
In the internet world Google is on top. Consequently, Google's advertising program - Adwords is used by thousands and thousands of quality businesses to reach their intended audience. This means that every niche market has a good selection of advertisers all writing carefully scripted ads to relate to the people using your website.
4. Because the Ads automatically change
Not only is the ad pool very large, the advertisers and the ads keep on changing. This keeps all your ads abreast of market trends as the advertisers constantly strive to better each other and themselves. The ads appearing on your site will evolve as your market evolves. Secondly, and this is important for sites that receive repeat visitors - your ads will often be different. If the same person reads the samepage twice in a two week time period they're more likely to click on ad both times if they are different each visit.

Create Adsense Domination fast
By Keith Baxter
When you make your living online, you realize the need for multiple streams of income.
One of the easiest and most lucrative ways to generate a secondary income, which also happens to be passive, is via Google's Adsense program. I'm sure you 've read the claims of a few individuals generating five figure monthly incomes from Adsense. For many of you, I 'm sure you are wondering why you aren 't making this same income yourself.
If you follow my simple six step system, you will be well on your way to healthy Adsense profits within three months.
Are you ready? It 's now time to pay attention.
Step 1 ' Preparation.
The key to making money with Adsense is all about numbers. BIG numbers!
Sure, there are a few people making serious money with less than ten sites, but these are the exception.
Your goal will be twenty-four sites in three months. That 's just TWO sites per week!
In order to accomplish this, I recommend one of the many available page generation tools available today.
Step 2 ' Determine Your Markets.
In order to maximize Adsense income with only twenty-four sites, you must know which markets are paying well.
To break this down even further, you need to know which keywords within those markets are paying the most.
Step 3 ' Register you domains.
Once you 've identified and chosen your markets, you must register domains appropriate to those markets. For example, if your market is 'Cabbage Patch Dolls ', a domain such as http://www.cabbage-patch-doll.com/ would be appropriate.
Step 4 ' Create your site.
Using your favorite page generation software and keyword list, it 's time to develop your site. There are several key points to bear in mind when you develop these specifically for Adsense.
1. Format ' Always use the large 336x280 large rectangle.
2. Border ' Match the same color as your background.
3. Background color - Border ' Match the same color as your background.
4. Link = "0000CC"
5. Color_url = "999999"
6. Color_text = "333333"
7. Position ' Far left or center and just above the page fold (Top 25% of site)
Step 5 ' Verify and track your site
Visit your site and make sure all links work and that the sites appear to your satisfaction. You should also check out the ads Google is displaying. Are they targeted to your primary high paying keyword? If not, recreate your site using your high paying keyword in a higher density throughout your site.
Make sure you track your Adsense format, position, and traffic with a tracking system specifically designed for Adsense. Once you know your stats, you can adjust for maximum clickthroughs and higher revenues.
Step 6 ' Get your site listed in the search engines.
This is simple ' no tricks involved. Simply rent links to your site. A PR7 or PR8 link will do the job.
While I 've simplified the process here, you are now armed with enough information and resources to make some serious money with Adsense.

Adsense Ad Format
Optimization ....
The trick with choosing the Ad Format that you are going to use is to actually choose it and not let your current website structure which you built before you decided to monetize your website with Adsense choose it for you.
This is what the average Adsense Publisher says to him or herself - "This is how my site is built - I can make that space available there and so I'll have to place Adsense there which means I'll have to use that ad format". This is not a choice and needless to say it will generally not convert aswell as rejigging your page layout so as to accommodate the ads that will perform best into it. What this also means is that placement is more important than format.
The basic Ad Format rule is that wider is better and Google gives a neat explanation of why this is so here. Note, wider doesn't mean width of the whole ad (otherwise we'd all be using leaderboards) but the width of an individual advertisement inside the ad block.
This means that the large rectangle - 336 x 280, the medium rectangle - 300 x 250 and the wide skyscraper 160 x 600, other things being equal all perform better.
In content sites I always try to use at least one large rectangle but remember that a webpage can often accommodate more than one ad unit.

Profitable Adsense Niche
How To Find A Profitable Adsense Niche? The profitability of an Adsense niche is primarily based on the amount that Adwords advertisers are spending to compete in that niche.
Remember that an Adsense ad is only an Adwords ad that is appearing on your site and not Google. The amount that an ad generates per click is therefore directly related to the amount that Adwords advertisers are paying per click. Bottom line - if they are paying more we earn more.
So how can you find out which niches (and which keywords inside those niches) advertisers are spending more money on?
I use two different methods:
1. Keyword Research With Keyword Country
As you will have probably have started to gather I cannot lay enough praise on this tool. In fact I struggle to understand how I researched, chose and targeted niche sites before I got hold of it...it's that good. Aswell as being able to search by category or keyword you can also search by price range. For example, you can decide to find keywords that have an average cpc of say between $18 and $20. If you enter this price range it will return a list of keywords which fall inside that parameter - in this case - 3957 different keyword phrases.
The top 5 rated keywords in this cpc range were: "credit card", "free credit report", "mortgage rates", "consolidate debt" and "website hosting". All you need to do is go down the list work out which ones would be suitable for an Adsense monetized information site, extend your keyword research by taking your chosen phrase and entering it into the search box, build the content, integrate the Adsense and promote your new website.

Adsense Psychology
The first rule of integrating Adsense into your website is to acknowledge that your visitors will see and interact with your Adsense ads the way you see them and have consequently integrated them. If you think of the time you have spent deciding colors, site structure, images and everything else that makes your website, the same amount of energy and precision should go into getting Adsense just right on your webpages.
As you have complete control over the design and layout of your webpages, you also have complete control over how a visitor interprets and ultimately interacts with your pages - and this includes your Adsense Ads.
First and foremost, the size and placement of your ads suggests to the visitor how he or she ought to interact with them. For example,
1. If you use a 728 x 90 leaderboard at the top of your page you are saying to your visitors - "here are some ads which I do not consider to be actually part of my website but I hope that they will catch your eye as you look to the actual content of my website".
2. If you use a 120 x 600 skyscraper in either your left or right navigation you are saying to your visitor, these ads are like my navigation, something extra to the page which you are currently on and to be used like the rest of my navigation if something in them takes your fancy.
3. If you use one of the square or rectangle shapes inside your actual page content, you are saying to your visitors that "these ads are integral to the content of this page and should be read as you are reading the rest of these words - as content relating to the actual page topic".
Needless to say the last of these will always perform better than the other two examples.
View Adsense ads as supplemental content to your page content, integrate them into the structure of your webpages that way and your visitors will interact with them that way giving you a much higher click through rate.
This is the first step to success with Adsense. If you view Adsense as just an easy way to make a couple of extra dollars that's all you will do with it. If you take the time to structure your website and integrate Adsense so as to supplement the page content your click through rate and your earnings will go through the roof.
There are many ways to do this successfully and many different sites that Adsense can work on.
